Expanded News Coverage and Redesigned Home Page

 

We are pleased to introduce the newly revamped and enhanced Kurt Weill Foundation website. Along with a new design and a fresh look provided by designer Michael LeBlanc, we have augmented our news area substantially without removing existing content. You can navigate the site with the top menu found on each page; side menus placed strategically around the site allow for precise navigation within areas of the site or within single pages. Check the News heading at the right of the top menu to explore our new format and increased coverage.

The new design incorporates the Kurt Weill Foundation logo on the header of every page, along with a link to our e-news subscription page, a search window, and the top menu. Additions to the site include:

• a slide show on the home page that highlights the major news items; navigate within the slide show or click on a slide and go to the news story (see screen shot below).
• a Current News home page with the latest headlines and links to pages with further information, features, and media.
• a Current News Archive, so that older news items will remain accessible.
• a Performance Calendar Archive page with all listings for the year before the current month.
• an E-news Archive with a link to every Kurt Weill Foundation e-news bulletin.
• a page on Marc Blitzstein, which will expand into multiple pages over time as we add information for fans, performers, and scholars (accessible from the home page).
